The Taj (or knife) was conceived in 2310 as an intermediate step between the B'rel class light scout and the K'tinga class cruiser. The Taj carries a crew of 75 comfortably (at least Klingon comfortable) with space for an additional 100 warriors in tight and cramped conditions.
Taj scouts are used for commerce raiding, small strike missions, general patrol of secure areas and last, stealthily scouts of long duration. With the minimal crew a Taj has 5 times the operational duration of the B'rel class ship, and a punch similar to the larger K'tinga. |
